Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference. 

It's with the tracker but it doesn't tell you how to complete it.

I spoke with admissions. It seems they sent out the first round of letters last Friday. I haven't received anything. Hoping to hear from them soon. Anyone else in the same boat?

I am also on the waiting boat. 
did they say when they would send the second round of acceptance letters?

No but after completing my background check they sent an email saying mid to late April. So hopefully soon.

If you have been admitted to the Houston campus, when is orientation? I was wondering if we all have the same date or different dates.

May 2 at 7:30am. I'm gonna be out of the country that day 😔

Oh my!  Have you contacted them about missing the mandatory orientation?  Hope they work something out with you.  Thanks for your response!

Yes! I've tried everything, call, email. They put me on the waiting list. I emailed the Director too. So upsetting but trying not to beat myself up about it as I cant change anything now.

Okay so about the drug test I attended the info session today and asked. She said do not worry about that or the TB test . DO NOT purchase the HIPAA course either. Only focus on the vaccines on the acceptance letter.

What info session did you attend? Where was this info session and what was it about?  Also have you been admitted to the Houston or Dallas campus?

If you are attending the HOUSTON campus here is the link to a new forum, if anyone is interested.  I realized that each campus has different requirements, deadlines, and orientation dates.
