Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Published

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference.

What info session did you attend? Where was this info session and what was it about?  Also have you been admitted to the Houston or Dallas campus?

It's on the acceptance letter. I've been admitted to the Dallas campus

Got accepted to the Houston campus as well! Been a longtime lurker so I'm posting my stats for any future applicants.

Science GPA: 3.06

Prereq/nursing GPA: 3.67

Overall GPA: 3.57

TEAS: 89.3

Currently in the process of completing a bachelor's, no in-person healthcare experience.

My stats are far from outstanding, so for future applicants, be optimistic because you never know 😁👍

If you got accepted into Houston campus here's a link to the forum, if you are interested. -

I got into the Houston campus! For future cohorts, believe you can get in because I think I have very mid level stats.

Here are my stats:

Overall GPA: 3.82

Science GPA: 3.56

TEAS: 84.7

No medical experience but I do help run a future nurses program at my former high school where I also lead a volunteer group with the Houston Food Bank and other programs.

FYI - I contacted a TWU Houston advisor and they confirmed that the Drug Screening should be completed before Orientation.

Does anybody know what the tuition is for the program (Houston)? I haven't been able to find an accurate cost breakdown anywhere.

Here are some links to the college Tuition and fees for the college, regardless of the program or location.  For additional costs refer to your acceptance letter and see the attachment document.

Really? I only see the seven digit one which is different from the nine digit one cause the acceptance form asks for both

I had a hard time finding mine too! Click on your username at the top, and then click on pioneer emergency notifications and that's where I finally found mine!
