Hey there everyone,
Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference.

I'm asking since thinking of purchasing them this week.
During orientation, they usually will have multiple sizes of scrubs available to buy. You can "try on" but it's more trying on over clothes etc. So you can do that, or order online through bookstore, or go to Denton in person. I bought a pair during orientation and then another pair later on in October through the online store before we started going to the hospital.

Good luck!
I had applied to the WEP and since they decided to temporary suspend it, I got placed on the waitlist. So, kinda lost hope and started preparing to apply for Spring 😔
If you are going to Houston:
Has anyone received an email about creating a myClinicalExchange account and starting the MERLIN application? According to the acceptance packet we will get a "Welcome to TWU Houston" email, after the acceptance deadline.
I ask because in the packet it said that a CastleBranch account, myClinicalExchange account, and the start of the MERLIN Application must be established by Thursday, May 2, 2024, when you arrive at New Student Orientation.

Here's a brief YouTube video that gives a tour of the Houston campus:

If I'm going to retake some stuff to boost my stats, would it be worth it to still apply for the next cycle to see if I get in with my current ones while I'm retaking classes? Sorry if that didn't make any sense 😅
I think this answer depends entirely on what you think would boost your chances at being competitive for the nursing school. I had to retake my TEAS and that got me in this cycle - so keep your head up! You can always talk to an advisor to see what your best chances are for improving your application.
