Texas Wesleyan CRNA 2017

Published

Hi everyone! I am new to allnurses.com, so my apologies in advance if I've posted this topic elsewhere on the website. I submitted my application and all supporting documents at the beginning of the month to Texas Wesleyan's CRNA program for the entering class of 2017. Has anyone applied this cycle received an interview date or any feedback from the school? Thanks in advance!

furtail, im with you about calling. i dont want to bother her if it's not necessary. i'm torn though, because like walkerrn, i want to know for sure if i have an invite. i may crack and call in the weeks to come if i don't hear anything.

has anyone been brushing up on interview material, such as drug classes, mech of actions, etc...?

Easton I feel ya about the calling too! She was very pleasant over the phone though which was good! Keep me posted this week when y'all get e mails! It's been eating at me not having an e mail, but glad to know I am not alone either! Thanks for the support and replies! :)

Hello all, I have been following this thread but this is my first time of posting. I also applied to TWU and I am waiting for an interview notification as well. I was surprised some people have already been accepted through telephone interview. Congrats to all those who have been accepted and thanks to all who have posted and been keeping us updated.

Thank you! I couldn't call yesterday because I was on shift with a very critical, busy patient. I feel the same as Furtail and Easton. I don't want to inundate her with calls. I "may" have enough patience in me to wait a bit longer.

anyone got updates? Nothing on my end. Thanks!

I haven't received anything either!

Hello Guys, I applied around mid Oct, and called immediately the next day. Was told all the DFW sites are gone and if I can eater chose to be interviewed in Nov for Mobile or wait till January for other TX sites. I chose to be interviewed in Nov coz I cant live in the anxiety till Jan....will be tough to live 16 months in Mobile though, was hoping to get any DFW spots :(

ARMY-RN I completely understand the feeling of anxiety! I submitted my application back on July 4th and they received all my supporting documents by July 10. I still have not received an email regarding whether or not I will receive an interview. I too applied primarily to DFW clinical sites, but check marked "YES" in the box that asked if I was willing to go anywhere for clinical (which I am). I'm glad you at least received some feedback from their office; I probably would've done the same thing and chosen to interview earlier in Alabama. Hopefully those 16 months go by quickly! I just called the admissions office and left them a message following my application. If I get any feedback I will post here. The waiting is the worst part!

ARMY-RN did you receive an email confirming what you were told over the phone about interviewing in Mobile?

Yes I did get an email right away asking me to confirm that I would be interviewing in Mobile in Nov. I would suggest calling them again as this is their busiest time of the year and they might not be able to return calls.

ARMY-RN thank you for the information. I just called the admissions coordinator; apparently she is out of office today and will return tomorrow. I also called the secretary and left her a voicemail just now as well. A co worker of mine also applied to the program; she was able to speak with the secretary. Unfortunately my co worker wasn't able to get any more information, but she submitted her application at the end of October, so it's possible hers is still getting processed. I am keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!
