Sup everybody ! knowing it's a bit early, but I just wanted to start this thread for those applying to Texas Tech ABSN 2026 program. Anyone here plan on applying?
Also, for the medical terminology course. I was told we can do Coursera. However, they have loads of options on there. The two I am torn between are Medical Terminology I and Medical Terminology Specializiation. Not sure if it matter which one we do....has anyone taken either of these?

I'm in Austin, and I did mine at the Central Texas Nurse Network. It's on the list for approved CNA programs in Texas found on the Tech website.
It's in a strip mall, and it took about 3 weeks. It was really simple and to the point, but it cost like 900. I'd recommend it to check that requirement off the list, tho it isn't very in-depth.

It doesn't need to be in depth. Just find the easiest way to get it knocked out.

If you don't hear anything back tomorrow it usually means waitlist or rejection letter. If you're waitlisted they will let you know and keep it open until November. I was waitlisted previously and never heard back unfortunately. I don't like that they don't send it all out at once like other nursing programs.

So latest tomorrow to hear anything back possibly and if not then its more than likely rejection/waitlist?
