Hello! This might be a little early, but I wanted to create a group for those applying to Texas Tech ABSN 2024. With applications due in the coming months, I was hoping to have this space for anyone to submit tips or questions that may come up. Thanks!

Anyone hear anything about the waitlist? Or has anyone joined y'all's cohort from the waitlist? Or received any emails?

It's crazy because I got a email yesterday from IdentoGo saying I needed to complete my background check and finger prints did you receive anything? I called Tech they stated that they recommend getting it done even if on the waitlist which doesn't sound right ..

That correct. It speeds things along on their end just in case you get off the waitlist it doesn't set u back. This is what everyone that got accepted is doing right now so it's a just in case thing.

I accepted my spot in the Dallas cohort and did my IdentoGo yesterday- the guy said the blue card takes 2-3 months to get to you so that's probably why they want people on the waitlist to do it as well! :)

Another girl that's on the waitlist as well said she didn't receive the email from them regarding fingerprints and the background check so IDK I'm confused

This page has been super quiet for a while. Do you guys know if they sent their final rounds of acceptances/rejections yet? They said November is the final group right?

Hi guys! Does anyone know if tech gives grants for the ABSN program? I hear FAFSA doesn't give aid for 2nd bachelors degrees so I'm worried about how I'll pay (if I get in).
