Hello! This might be a little early, but I wanted to create a group for those applying to Texas Tech ABSN 2024. With applications due in the coming months, I was hoping to have this space for anyone to submit tips or questions that may come up. Thanks!

Hopefully some decisions roll out next week by Friday. It's safe to say that if next Friday decisions haven't been received, to expect a decision no later than October 1st like they initially stated before changing the entire screening process with video submissions in hopes of decisions being made  by the second week of September. Today was the deadline for any location change/adding. We're definitely in the final stage and decisions should be out next week if everything's gone as planned in admissions. 
 

Anxiety is through the roof all to see the email and stare at it for three hours in Terror of opening it ‍?

Anyone have an idea on when we are to get notifications of acceptance?

There are two approved ways to create a special place for your cohort.

One: create a facebook page. This link may be posted.

Two: Premium members may create a "club" by clicking on the Breakroom link in the Community tab at the top of this page. Then click on "Create A New Club" in the green bar at the top of the page, and follow instructions.

References to other than these two avenues will be moved from view, to comply with the Terms of Service.

Trying to stay strong during this waiting period do y'all think we will hear from them by tomorrow or maybe next week ? Or another week or two? ?

At this point only Lord knows. I gave it to God. I spend all day over and over refreshing and checking my email. Kinda just wanna relax until the decision is made. As hard/frustrating as it is, I've just stopped thinking about it completely.
 

They're 9x out of 10 never gonna be on time exactly like they want with admission decisions. So who knows. It could go into the first week of October like last cohort who didn't receive anything until October 3rd and so on. I just wished they'd get on with it. I submitted my application May 23rd I'm over racking my brain about it LOL. If it's meant to be it'll be.

OMG I just got a email I'm scared to open it

I read it, just a notice to watch out for an email in the next 10-14 days. Omygod. That still gave me shivers opening it tho

I read It and It says they haven't made any decisions yet we have to wait another 10-14 days ?

Don't know if anyone else received this email, but I got one saying that my application is currently under review, and I will know the status in the next 10-14 days. They also added the note that no admission decisions have been sent for this cohort. 

Edit: Updated the page and saw y'all did LOL
