Texas Tech BSN 2 Fall 2013

I am applying for Texas Tech's Accelerated BSN program. So I wanted to start a thread for all Fall2013 hopefuls. I think I am going to apply to both Austin and the other location that is not El Paso(I can't think of the name)

Well, the interviews for Abilene are June 25th, 26th, and 27th..so, I was thinking I should hear something in a few weeks...When are the interviews for Amarillo?

I wish all of you luck. SilverLove please keep me updated on your journey. As I told you, I decided not to apply since I got accepted to TWU, but I feel we have been going through this together for a while, lol. So I want to know how things end up

The interviews that are held in Amarillo are set for June 19th.

I thought I had written down the numbers somewhere of how many apply, how many get interviews and how many get accepted.

I know Amarillo doesn't have numbers yet since its a new location. Do you know what they are for Abilene?

Congratulations on TWU Ladybug3. :nurse: I will definitely let you know. Your attending TWU in Houston, right? When do you start? I wish you the BEST of luck to you as well....I know you must have your hands full.

I applied at different schools. I missed one of the deadlines for a local nursing school because I didn't have my vaccines, so I went ahead and started those. I got MMR and Tdep and titers for the rest....figured I would need them regardless.

I have my summer open so I am also currently looking for a job in the meantime... :sneaky:

I don't know the numbers for Abilene....Oh, wow! Yeah, I'm thinking we should hear something in a few weeks since the Abilene interviews are on the 19th..:) Maybe I'll call and ask..Lol! I will let you know!

Thanx hun. And yes I will be attending the Houston location. I officially start I August but I will be taking one of the courses over the summer. Yeah, nursing school is enough without a toddler and an infant running around, lol.

Yeah, I think everyone requires the same vaccines for clinicals, so you might as well.

I'm trying to find a different job. Preferably one in a hospital.

So, I called the Abilene location and they said they haven't even started looking at the applications...but we should hear from them in the first 2 weeks of June. :)

I wonder if I should email the coordinator and just ask her about how many people are being accepted to Amarillo. It doesn't hurt, I guess.

I am soooo excited. :) I got my interview invitation email. YAY. I am thinking of driving up to Amarillo, rather than flying. I need to look into hotels. The interview is June 20th.

I want to know if anyone applied to TTU in Amarillo? I just thought of this, but I am guessing after the interview I might need to go check out the apartments around the school.
