Hello to all. I am applying to Texas CRNA schools to start in Summer/Fall of 2020 and wanted to start a thread for others who are also applying to be able to communicate and share questions, encouragements, stats etc. So far I have applied to TCU in Ft Worth and Ut Houston. I will be applying to Baylor College of Medicine as well as Texas Wesleyan when the applications open for those schools as well.
As far as stats. I've worked in ICU for 5 years, currently at a mixed ICU that includes Trauma, CVICU, Neuro, Surgery, and Medical ICU. Graduated back in 2014 with my BSN with a 3.6 GPA, CCRN certified, just completed PALS, and taking the GRE next month.

I got into BCM about 20 minutes ago! Also did my FaceTime interview today with TWU and was offered a spot immediately there as well. A good day!
Can I ask you what your stats are? I'm currently working on retaking my GRE and working on my application for next year and was curious on what I can do to improve?
Hello all ? Still waiting to hear anything from UT. My friend who interviewed last year told me that people knew before getting a call from Dr. Arnaud at UT because their myUTH account asked for a deposit beforehand. I interviewed last week but my account isn't showing anything new.
I got into Baylor! But I'm hoping I get into UT just because of the price difference. Ouch- Baylor tuition in comparison.
The UT interview was so different from the marathon at Baylor. Only 20 minutes in the interview and I was done. I blanked on a big clinical question so I doubt I will get in. I felt like kind of an idiot afterwards. But what can I do other than laugh? LOL.
