Thanks for checking. :) That was pretty much what I thought they would say. It's not like this all we think about all day long or anything, yeah right! The waiting is so hard. ::Sigh:: I guess we just have to have patience, and if it's meant to happen, then it will happen. :bugeyes:

No problem! The entire process is very slow, not just at this institution but other ones as well. I don't really blame them because they receive so many applicants for each position and I don't really know what their process is on how they select who they want to interview, etc. Like you mentioned, the waiting part is the worst, I wish someone can just say, yes you are being considered or no you are not. Oh well...*crossing fingers*

So latest update: my friend called today and they said they have not started interviewing yet and that they are currently sorting through applications. Unfortunately I guess this means they had a ton!

i know.that’s a little scary to think about how many applicants there are. i know the competition is pretty steep with any hospital in the med center. i'm hoping i get an interview as my gpa is a little lower than i would like. i'm hoping for the best since i also have a bachelor's in psychology, graduated with my bsn in december, and have passed my nclex. i know i won't be the only applicant that meets those criteria, but just hoping it helps a little. i hoping for the best for all of us! :)
