base salary is $45,900

For the winter residency you should start checking MDA's career page from October/Nov. You can also find more info on when they will start accepting applications for the program under "Launch into Nursing" (they will update this closer to the program start date). To search for this position, just type in "nurse" or "residency" in the keywords, and it will list all the nursing jobs there, and you can easily find the residency program listing.

I did not receive my work schedule either, just information on orientation, forms to fill out, etc.

I also have orientation on the 9th and lunch sounds great!

Received a call late evening offering me a position! I will be starting July 9th, unless they decide to push orientation back. AHHH so excited!!!! So happy! :) Cannot to wait to meet everyone? rsh24bsn, any news?

Yay! Thanks for the update. I was starting to lose hope hehe. *fingers crossed* for tomorrow! Did your friend also receive the same phone call/email that you and I did approx 2 weeks ago stating they were interested in hiring us, etc?

I did not hear anything either. I would not be surprised if they call us a week before July 9th and offer us a position. Just gotta keep waiting...

Have not heard anything either. Maybe Friday? You should still go on/schedule the interviews and if you get offered a position at MD Anderson, you can explain your situation to the other hospitals, I'm pretty sure they will understand. I am still applying to other hospitals as well because I'm scared of putting all my eggs in one basket.

Not sure. But the way they said that they are interested in considering me/you for a position at MDA made it seem that they are trying to find something for me/us. Never heard HR say that to a candidate because if they were not interested or did not have any positions they could have said that and rejected us. Ahhh and we continue to wait! LOL, but at least there is hope!
