Anyone hear from Texas Children's Hospital for the GN Program?

So nobody else got an interview?

Interview went well, I pray it did lol. But it was a panel Interview with a nurse manager, educator,staff nurses, business manager,and one more important person who title I can't remember. They ask the same situation/result type questions. But they only taking two nicu new grads. So praying for the best.

Do you have a BSN? Any health-related experience?

I'm just trying to figure out what these people want...

They have started to make phone calls for interviews. I received a call today.

I just got back home from a 2 week vacation in Hawaii. I've been out-of-the-loop the entire time, but did check phone messages often. No interview offer for me :cry:. Oh well, the vacation was so wonderful that I had little to no time to be upset about not getting a call. Did anyone else get an interview? For those who did interview, have you heard anything as of yet?

no news yet. praying for only good news. was suppose to hear something last week. but waiting is getting hard lol. was debating if I should contact hr and ask for an update. or just wait.

Yeah waiting is the hardest part. Hopefully you will hear something soon. You can always call to inquire about the status of the position which you interviewed for. Hopefully you have better luck than me. I went on an interview for Memorial Hermann Southwest about a month ago (The day before i got the e-mail from TCH to provide more info actually. I thought I may be lucky enough to have a choice where to work.) I interviewed with the unit manager and the nursing director. Thought I for sure had the job in the bag. Espically since the director told me she would be calling me early (within a day or so). They told me they would contact everyone in 2-3 days. They never did call me, and when I called the director to inquire about the status of the position per her request, I never got a return phone call. I ended up making 2 phone calls and 1 e-mail attempt before I decided to move on. I never even got a formal rejection letter. I thought it was pretty rude of them actually. I just wish the director didn't make it seem like I had the position if she wasn't for sure going to hire me. Like I said, hopefully you have better luck. My fingers are crossed for you! Please please keep us updated.

@applejacks36 I know how you feel. Same thing happen with me at the womans hospital. I interviewed in the beginning of april. Great interview . Nurse manager even said i interviewed well. Never heard anything.I called last month and the manager said they were still thinking over it . She said I would hear something soon and to call hr or her back if I didn't hear anything by that following Monday. now it is June . No call no rejection letter. I just stop calling. Tx woman's and Texas's children's are the only hospitals I want to work at to be honest. But I am still open minded.
