nothing yet for me either. hoping we hear something soon. does anyone know how many spots are available? i wonder how many got the e-mail, and how many they will plan on interviewing? hoping for the best for everyone!

When I talked to someone who was a GN last summer she said she thinks they took about 50 GNs so I hope the same goes for this summer!

I'm going to tell you how to land a spot at TCH.

You have to call HR directly and be persistent. Do not ask if you can interview. You must ask WHEN you can come in to interview. I know it's still asking but you're asking for two totally different things.

When you ask for WHEN you can come in to interview you are implying that you are a very serious candidate and/or worthy of strong consideration. If you have applied to a specific unit, call that unit and speak with the manager. Be persistent, be nice though, remember to be courteous. :)

Thanks for the info TX RN! I will do that just that...what's the worst that can happen? ..that HR says they are still going through applicants and THEY will call you for an interview. Is this what you did?

TX RN, I need some advice on calling HR. I had called several times to inquire about the internship program back in Feb. I was not well received by the HR Rep. Even though I was very courteous, she was not. She was very tighted liped about the program, rushed me off the phone, and practically hung up on me. I would love to be more persistent, but afraid it may seem pushy and make me look bad. Any suggestions on how to appeal to HR, and make them take you seriously?

Update: Called HR today. They stated that they have not called people for interviews yet and that we have to wait for them to call us. They also do not have a definite timeline on when they will start calling people.
