Testing February 6th... anxious!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Only a little over a week left.. any last minute suggestions?!

I am planning on covering the PDA book - my scores are falling in the 60s. Is this okay? Did anyone pass with these kinds of scores?

I also am finishing up NCSBN. I didn't review content but my question scores are 50s - 70s. There were a few that was higher.

What's a good score for NCLEX 4000?

I am having such a hard time with SATA! Pharmacology is coming tougher to me too. I don't know what to do but I am getting overwhelmed.

I'm sorry if this post was all over the place but I am just so scared. I really have been working hard. I had a family emergency with my dad's health (he's doing much, much better now) and wasn't able to test for 3 years. I am SO ready to move past this exam and actually begin my career.

My big day is February 6th as well!

Like you, I'm having trouble with SATA questions... I bought Lippincott's Alternate-Format Questions book off the recommendation of someone on here. I feel like the questions are a little easier than what will be seen on the test, but at the same time, it's good practice to analyze each answer choice completely... and the rationales are pretty good. :)

And pharm... oh gosh, I'm SO worried about pharm.

Good luck in your studies!

I WISH I knew where to even begin with pharm! I have Lippincott's Q&A book - the one with 5800 questions. I don't think I will get through the entire thing, but I want to do all of the alternate style questions on there. Praying so hard to the NCLEX gods, lol! Good luck to you as well!!!

Ahh! I know how you feel! All of my classmates have passed also since it's been a couple of years since I graduated. What sources do you use to study? I hope February 6th proves to be a lucky day for us! Wishing you luck!

Kaplan review book and on-line resources. Saunders NCLEX-RN Comprehensive review, some study guides I found and the Kaplan medications to know for the NCLEX book.

For pharm, I'm trying to just know as much as I can about each class and trying to learn the suffix for each so I'll (hopefully) be able to identify them on the test. But Kaplan is killing me with their incredibly detailed questions about specific drugs or interactions...

Gosh, I'm a wreck!! Hard to believe it'll all be over in just over a week!

Ahh! Same - I am just focusing on the most common and learning the groups, but it is overwhelming. I can't believe it either! 9 days of studying left for me (hopefully) lol!

Feb 6th sounds like a great day to pass the NCLEX!

I hope so! Studying away. I'm just hoping I know enough! Thanks for the encouragement! February 6 seems to be a day many people are taking it.

Everybody testing tomorrow good luck!

Yes, thinking of everyone testing today! Keep us posted, your in our thoughts! We're rooting for you!!!

I took mine today and didn't think it was too bad. I got like 3-4 SATA in a row at times and found that reassuring. Finished with 75 questions in about an hour and have gotten the good pop up.

Anyone else use ATI tutor to study? It was a pain in the butt, hard and time consuming, but I feel it prepared me well. It was included in my school's tuition.

Natalie

I tested today too and got the good pop up. Hoping it works!

Congrats to both of you! :) I finished in 75 questions as well and got the good pop up. For those who are still waiting to test, I made a post with my test plan and what to expect on test day if that will help!
