Temple College 2015

Published

Hello, I just wanted to start a thread for those of us applying for the LVN or RN programs at Temple College for 2015. We can share information, discuss any concerns, talk about the HESI exam, getting cleared through the Board of Nursing, or the just nursing program in general! Those of you that are already in the program are more than welcome to chime in.

PLEASE NOTE: I am in no way taking responsibility for any wrong information given, nor will I moderate this thread. I just want to meet new friends and support one another through the process of applying and getting our acceptance letters!

I'll look you up! I just got the final grade from my last prereq class and things are looking good. Are any of you going to do your cpr this January or are ya'll waiting for acceptance letters? I will and I will also make sure my immunizations are in order, it can take up to 6 months to take the series of hep B, so think about it Dearies ;)

Hi! That's great!! Did you happy to Temple or Taylor and which program did you apply to? Thanks

And, if you happen to look up Angela, Im "totes" her bff, so u can find me on her fb page too!

Haha! Summer, I actually read through the whole Temple College 2014 thread right around the time I decided to pursue nursing (back in August) and I just finished re-reading it last night to see if there were any tips I had missed since I am getting ready to apply for the LVN and ADN programs! I fell into a close study group during my anatomy class that included others interested in TC's nursing program, and they are always asking me how I know so many details about the program and application period. I always tell them, "Read the Temple College nursing threads. It's all in there." Lol

Glad to see you join the 2015 thread! How was your first semester as a Bridger??

...just realized AngPartrige3 was also in that 2014 group, too

Glad you've joined us as well! I feel like I know y'all from reading the 2014 thread, lol. Did the other Bridger at the VA ever get an alternate spot?

Well, technically, this was my 2nd semester!

We had to start in Summer I as just bridgers, then we joined the 2nd years in Summer II. I just finished fall.. which was ridiculously time consuming! I miss my life!!!!!

But, I only have 150 days and 13 hours left till I get pinned!! But who is counting?!

Im glad you enjoyed our posts! It was fun to wake up and read new things everyday and answer everyones questions. The wait was the hardest thing.

I can say HANDS DOWN that being an LVN for so long helped me with this fall semester. Sometimes I felt bad for the traditional students when it came to tests. They didn't go over HALF the stuff in class, and the only reason I knew the answers is cause I had seen it and dealt with it first hand during my nursing career. Thank goodness for that! I love my class this year, but I cant wait to get the heck out! :)
