Temple College 2015

Published

Hello, I just wanted to start a thread for those of us applying for the LVN or RN programs at Temple College for 2015. We can share information, discuss any concerns, talk about the HESI exam, getting cleared through the Board of Nursing, or the just nursing program in general! Those of you that are already in the program are more than welcome to chime in.

PLEASE NOTE: I am in no way taking responsibility for any wrong information given, nor will I moderate this thread. I just want to meet new friends and support one another through the process of applying and getting our acceptance letters!

Has anyone heard how many people applied to the LVN program?

Although, seeing all your scores on the HESI, i doubt any of you will have a problem getting in! You guys did awesome!

Now the waiting game begins!!!

Hi! I'm not sure. I saw on one post that maybe around 80 for the Temple campus had applied and I'm not sure about the Taylor campus.

Tomorrow is the day for the bridgers to apply!!!

Sucks that no bridgers have found this site yet! Last year it made the waiting game WAY more bearable!

Hey!! I'm still waiting to see if I got into the LVN program.. Can't wait!!! Good luck to everyone!!

So glad I found this!:) I have applied for the LVN program at Temple College. I was told we should receive our accept/reject letters end of January, beginning of February when I applied in November. Any updates out there? Good luck to everyone & let's hope for the best!

Hi Juju! Welcome!í ½í¸Š Glad to see more people in here..lol. So did you apply through the Temple campus or Taylor campus? I haven't heard any updates either, but I applied to the Taylor campus in October, I believe..but Temple campus accepts more students than the Taylor campus.. Good Luck to you also!!í ½í¸Š

I applied at the Temple campus. Fingers crossed! The waiting game is awful!

So glad I found this forum... Although I thinks it's made me more nervous! You all did very well on you hessi!

Hi! Welcome.. Did you apply for the LVN program? If so how did you do on the Hesi? I only got an 87.. But anyways, again welcome and good luck!!!

@summerblessing, I have a question about the LVN program.

Can you remember when direct patient care began in the program? I receive the 1st out of 3 of the hepB vaccine this week. Due to the fact that it takes 6 months from the initial vaccine to receive the complete series, I'm wondering if I will have all 3 in time. I have called the school & left messages with my concern, but unfortunately I have not heard back.

I really hope this doesn't hinder myself in being qualified!

TIA

@juju, the website says it starts in July. they have the rapid schedule for hep b that only takes 4 months. I will try to get mine started this month, as well as my cpr/first aid class... or feb for the class.

Hey! Do you know when they will be letting us know about the LVN program? Thanks!
