HI, I am really nervous about the Teas Test. Can you share what will you do different? I am not good in Math. How is the structure in the sciences. I am also nervous about that. If you have done the Teas in 2009, any tips are welcome. Wish me luck ! I will be doing the test on Dec 17th 2009.
Thanks for all the tips in this website, I pass the TEAS exam. TIPS: make sure to be aware of the time. The time, number of questions left, and number of pages left can be seen on top of the page during the exam. A friend of mine did not pass the exam because she did not finish the math portion. Goodluck
Well i just took the TEAS 3.0/4.0 this morning. Dont have my score yet. The reading was a breeze. The math was tricky..science was very hard..and finally the english was basic punctuation and spelling, and word meaning. The time went really fast on the math! Got nervious!! I did study the ati book and bought the online practice test..all worth it! one of the science ?s was the same as the practice test.
I am taking the Teas 2morrow and i am so nervous , i was at ivytech and i took my pre reqs, they decided to add another math class to the nursing pre-reqs and the classes are full which will make me sit out a semester . I have decided that insted of wasting another year on ivy -tech BS list of dummies spending money , i will apply to Medtech who is NLN accredited for LPN and working on the RN . I am taking the TEAS at 9am on 8/11/10 and i have only had 3 days to study. mostly because the math 118_ i got a "B" at ivytech , english 111 "a", and i passed the compass test so i had no reading classes. I am more concerned about the science portion , just because the high schol I attended barley covered it. I got the ATI "teas test stufy guide " from the library, :clown:and and seeing the book i feel comfortable with math , english and reading at an all time high , but as far as the science
..........any suggestins o what to go over , although in the 3 days of studying i could atleast be a science tutor ..not!

It is a bit like the GED inasmuch as it is a general high school knowledge test. I definitely got the sense that it is weighted more on science and math though, which makes sense since it's a test for prospective nurses.
