Has anyone scored low on the online practice test and passed the TEAS? I've been preparing by reviewing the ATI Teas manual book. I reviewed the book, I also used the McGraw book (5 teas test). I' m feeling frustrated and discouraged cause I scored a 60% on the online practice test (A). I'v been getting good score when I practice from the books. HELP PLEASE!!!!! ?????

I scored the same as you and I have been study so hard. Reading was very difficult for me, and science too many weird questions. Math and English were not that bad, but I made little stupid mistakes . I am fustrated too, don't know what to think about this test. I also reached the time limit for reading and math. I am taking the test in two days.

The Practice test is usually harder than the real thing for what ever reason. Also ensure that you have the correct school on your profile i.e ADN or BSN options. Back when I took this I got a 67% in the practice test (B) and an 85% in the real thing. That got me into nursing school.See how your score is compared to your college average is your best indicator. Review the results and keep practicing on your weak areas and you should do fine.
To man-nurse2b. Thank you so much . Now I feel much better. I will continue to practice.

I scored low on the practice test but did just fine on the real TEAS test. The practice test were harder in my opinion.
Thank you for your responses, I will try my best.

I took the teas two times before each test I reviewed the book and took the online tests. My actual test scores werw both better than the online practice version. My advice for a good teas score is on the day on your test relax no need in craming more information in you already know as much as you can eat a good breakfast get there a little early pray and put your gameface on. Goodluck

Yea, practice tests were more difficult. But it will always depend on what random topics they throw up on the science part!! Cause everyone is more familiar with some topics over others... Anyways, got 78-85 on the ATI practices and ended up w/ a 96% adjusted individual score.

Is the online practice test timed ? Similar to the real test?
The ones through ATI are not timed in the sense that there isn't a countdown timer for each section. There is, however, an overall timer that counts up, giving you an idea of how much time it takes you to complete the entire test.

Thanks n.a.norcal - I was wondering how the timing thing works. Do they let you take the practice tests more than once? Or is it $40 for a one time use? I will probably end up buying them so I don't regret it later, I'm just wondering if they truly make a difference? :)
They seemed pretty indicative of future performance, the questions being very similar. Many people scored much higher on the real exam. The $40 is worth it, though you can only take the test once. It will tell you which types of questions still need review, but you can't go back and look at any of your answers or know exactly which questions you got incorrect.
