  1. For those of you that have started the program, how was your experience with taking Patho & Pharm together? I'm scheduled to start the post-masters track this May.
  2. Yes, I was also interested in Touro but got shot down due to residency requirements. I live in VA and they cannot teach VA students. So, I have to look elsewhere for a DNP prgm. My top choices right now are Univ. of South AL,Univ. of AL Huntsville and Chatham Univ. (most expensive, but shortest).
  3. I am also considering this prgm. Any updates/thoughts about the program from those of you who have attending previously or currently attend? TIA
  4. I'm currently in the process of applying for the DNP prom. Can you share your experience with the program thus far? How are the classes aligned throughout the semester? How may are required each semester? TIA
  5. Hopefully, me too. Back ground chk is done. Just awaiting transcript evals. My interview is tentatively scheduled for this Friday. Fingers crossed!
  6. Wow, that is crazy ! But, great news for my pocket none the less...thanks for the heads up girl!
  7. So, would you say its okay to purchase a used book with the access code. I know you can pay for the access online later, it's like $120 though. I've never heard of registering a book...but if it'll save me money, that's a def plus!
  8. Ok thanks....I appreciate your responses to my many questions. It looks like I will have to go ahead and purchase that one "new" it's a pricey one! The other three weren't too bad though!
  9. Nope...Amazon. It's looks like they've sent me the wrong set even though the ISBN# matches. One more book question(sorry) - did you all use the "my nurse lab" access w/ the Med-Surge book? I notice many of the used ones don't come with the access code on Amazon. I'm trying to save some precious dollars. lol
  10. @DLC0526 - I just rec'd my Fundamentals book in the mail. Is it supposed to be 2 books and a cd or 1 book and a cd? I rec'd one book and a cd...wondering if they sent me the wrong book? Thanks
  11. Oops, what I meant to say was that I interviewed in February and got my letter in May. I was accepted to the LPN-RN fast track prgm.
  12. I interviewed in May...got my acceptance letter early May. My interview went very well! Short and sweet! Good luck!
  13. Thanks for such a quick response...you mentioned no crocs, what about clogs or open heel shoes? I'm guessing they probably have to covered too?
  14. Hi ladies...I have a question about shoes. What type of shoes does Riverside require for clinicals? Shopping around...unsure what to buy? Thanks in advance
  15. Just checking in with everyone to see how's everything going? I finally got my medical finished , CPR certification, and started ordering books. I checked out the grading scale....whoooo baby Few more weeks till orientation, nervous excitement right now.
