Has anyone scored low on the online practice test and passed the TEAS? I've been preparing by reviewing the ATI Teas manual book. I reviewed the book, I also used the McGraw book (5 teas test). I' m feeling frustrated and discouraged cause I scored a 60% on the online practice test (A). I'v been getting good score when I practice from the books. HELP PLEASE!!!!! ?????
I have read a few posts that say that the online test is harder then the actual test and I personally did not find that to be true. I really under estimated the actual test and figured since i was scoring 70's online then I should be able to do fine on the actual test. Wrong!, I took the teas V once and only scored a 68, luckily i was able to retake it and got a 85. Try to go through the math portion a few times and make sure you know the steps!
Oh lawdy the science on the online practice test was tricky i must admit. Lots of terms that if you don't know the exact definition of you just have to guess. Really hope science isn't going to be specific on the real test.
Anways I got a 70% on test A and I have the real test in a few days so....hope everyone is right when they say they do much better on real test .
@meep what did you do to study if you don't mind my asking?
I primarily used the ATI book, but I used other resources for the science in particular. YouTube and old textbooks (chem and biology) mostly. I also downloaded a lot of practice worksheets for the math and worked problems. I highly recommend doing this. Even with that preparation, I almost ran out of time on the math. The bulk of my study involved practice questions though. I took both forms a & b twice, as well as all the tests in the book. I also got the McGraw hill teas app for the iPhone and did questions on there. I found them comparable to the real thing.

Actually, that is untrue. You can take each practice test twice.
