I hope it's not too early to start a thread for those who are planning to apply to TCC this summer for Spring 2016. I will be applying with one A and two B's. I'm getting ready for my HESI test and I hope to get a good score. For those who have applied before, has anyone ever been accepted with one A.? I'm hopeful and also nervous. So let's get the ball rolling, and help encourage each other.
The fall 2015 class was slated to find out on 4/15 and I think they were notified on 4/21. I bet we will find out around that 21st-25th of next month. When I dropped off my application this week, Katherine mentioned that there really weren't as many applicants as before because a lot of applicants missed the August 1st vaccination deadline. I know a lot of people dropped off their apps this week but a doubt it was several hundred.
Not sure if there are conflicting statements from the advisor then... because when I went and turned in my application early Thursday morning, she said that at that point there were about 250 plus...and she said the day before she had 60 alone and expected the same thursday and friday. BUT, I am aware that this go around, there definitely are not as many applicants.
Good luck to everyone!
Not to sound rude but how in the world does someone not get at least the 75 on the test on all the sections?? Honestly if someone can't be successful on that easy of a test, there's no way they could be successful in nursing school with much much more challenging criteria. The math section was middle school level. I'm honestly surprised they don't test on the a&p and other sections just to narrow down more the people that could handle nursing school. Maybe if there aren't as many applications then they will have the list of people that are accepted even more quickly. We can hope!

Good luck to everyone dropping off their applications. ^-^ I have homework for one of my classes [A+PII Re-take] and fall hasn't started yet XD I'm excited to try out some new study/organization methods before nursing school though.
