I hope it's not too early to start a thread for those who are planning to apply to TCC this summer for Spring 2016. I will be applying with one A and two B's. I'm getting ready for my HESI test and I hope to get a good score. For those who have applied before, has anyone ever been accepted with one A.? I'm hopeful and also nervous. So let's get the ball rolling, and help encourage each other.
Thanks! :) For me, I struggle the most with math, so I started off with that section. Know your fractions like the back of your hand, and ratios. Conversions are needed sometimes, so I would review those too. Grammar... Pretty basic, maybe review parts of speech? Vocab, everything was in the Admissions Assessment book. No crazy terminology or anything. Reading comprehension I did the worst on conclusions, so review that section as well. You'll be totally fine, it's a basic exam. :) Take advantage of the noise cancelling headphones they offer!
I took my HESI today and made an 88.5! Not what I wanted but it will have to do. I am hoping that with my GPA, I will still have a great chance on getting in! I went and got all my shots (except those in the series that are not due) and my TB screening. Everything is done that is needed to apply, so I will be going up Thursday to submit my application.

You need to have all vaccines completed at the time of application, except Hep A and B, which needed to be started by August 1st. If you have access to your childhood records, those are acceptable, AFAIK, as long as you followed the recommended schedule.
I took my HESI yesterday! I also went and got my passport photo done. Now that that's out of the way, I'm waiting for my final grade to be posted in WA and then I can print off my degree audit and submit the application! :) I'll be applying with a 4.0 GPA and a 95.5% on the HESI.
