I hope it's not too early to start a thread for those who are planning to apply to TCC this summer for Spring 2016. I will be applying with one A and two B's. I'm getting ready for my HESI test and I hope to get a good score. For those who have applied before, has anyone ever been accepted with one A.? I'm hopeful and also nervous. So let's get the ball rolling, and help encourage each other.

Yay for first day of the semester! Hopefully next semester (those of us on here) will be starting the Nursing program :) Best of luck to you all this term!

Ugh yes I have a full load this semester... trying to finish all the bachelor Pre-reqs. Federal Govt, Statistics, Algebra, Sociology, and English.

I turned in my app today and she said there were about 300 applicants so far, and since they have had some fixing the system that it should be towards the end of September that we'll find out. Best of luck to everyone! Stay positive, don't lose hope ☺️

I'm sure it varies but what is the average number of applicants per application period?

The lady told me that it was anywhere from 300 to 400 applications per application period.

I'm pretty sure my low grades won't get in. Where else has everyone applied to?

I've heard 350-500 applicants on average apply so it def sounds like a smaller applicant pool. I really do hope this go round GPA and Hesi scores are on the lower end. Usually 3.5's are on the cusp and that makes me nervous. I would love to not have to repeat a class

ERiding: I have heard of people getting in with low grades and non 90's Hesi. Try to be optimistic:) We are on the lower end of applicants (300), so everyones chances are better. Wish you lots of luck!

I didn't apply anywhere else. I put all my eggs in one basket. If I am not accepted for spring 16 I'm going to apply everywhere!!!!

I applied only to TCC. My mom graduated from LVN to RN bridge here in 2002and she's done extremely well in her career so I've wanted to follow her lead :)

I hope that we all get in!! It has been drummed in my head that you need perfect scores to get in and I have gone back and looks at past years and that's not the case. So that gives me hope and it should give everyone hope that we can do this!!!! 😃

I only applied here and if I don't get in the time then I am going to also apply to DCCD next app period as well
