Hello,
I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.
I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.
I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.
They have to go out before summer classes. The new campus is really throwing off the timeframe they have always seemed to stick to when sending out letters.
I can't take anything until summer II.
I've read past posts of 3.0-3.5 getting in, but I guess it just depends on the applicant pool. I even saw someone who had 2A's and 2 C's in the sciences and got in. That was 3 semesters ago though and it seems like competition has gotten even more rigid.
It is quiet! I'm just really anxious. I have paperwork to turn in at WC but I am waiting to see if I get in to TCC. Has everyone done all of the required immunizations, etc. I have done most of them. I got a TDAP and my second MMR this week. I didn't have record of ever having a 2nd MMR, so I needed to do that. Other than that, I need to do my CPR class. I already did my background check and was cleared for that.
Ughhhh, waiting waiting waiting. I really hope letters get mailed out today. It would make for a gret weekend. Even if I don't get in, at least I would know!!

I retook A&PI to get an A, and if I don't get in this time around I will retake Micro, because that is my only b in sciences. When I took Chem, I had an awsome teacher at southeast campus, it was in the 5pm class, 1st summer session. (If you retake it).
I'm beginning to wonder if letters will go out before summer classes begin.
