I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.
I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.
I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.
I think yhey have just mailed out letters to t hose who could not be considered, because of an incomplete application or requirements not being met. So, I am just happy that mine is being considered at this point. That must mean I am not missing something.
Is anyone planning to call the nursing school today to see when they are mailing acceptance letters? I know that someone on here said that they told her to call back the 1st of April for an update.
I'm torn about revealing my "true identity" if I get to orientation. Hopefully we can use AN to anon. vent when we are RNs!!! Maybe I can get a new screen name since I will have used more than 3 wishes if I am an employed RN at that point!
I don't think anyone should feel obligated to reveal their identity. If you don't want to, you shouldn't have to. Some of us just figured it would be nice to put a face with a name (or screenname for that matter) and be able to meet the people we've been spending so much time with online these past few months.
I did a search on google, don't remember what I typed. It was back in the summer of 09 when I started taking pre reqs. I owe a lot to all nurses. It was because of allnurses that I knew how competitive I needed to be from day 1 and not settling for anything less.
I made my husband call the nursing department today to find out the status of the acceptance letters. Bev let him know that the letters will not be here until May. She said because they are moving to the new campus, they are having some issues getting them out. I guess we have another month to wait
