Hello to everyone! I'm brand new to this site, but already finding lots of great information. Are any of you familiar with or applying to Tarrant County College ASN program? I'm in the dreaded wait until the first part of May. I took my TEAS exam last weekend and did really well so I'm hoping for the best! I look forward to getting to know each of you better.
Don't worry. I took the Teas twice and did better on the reading the first time I took it. I had a really hard time reading a map they had on there and it royally screwed my grade up. The reading and English count the least. Don't worry!!!! The countdown continues!! Could letters come this week? MAYBE!!!
I sure hope so! It sounds promising. You will keep asking won't you, Katy?? Inside scoop is the best!! LOL

Of course!!! I've got your back!! LOL!! I have class on campus today. I'll see what I can find out. Maybe they'll have a better idea of when the packets are going out since the orientation has been scheduled.
Katy, Thanks for the encouragement. It makes me feel better and gives me a little more confidence. There is no doubt in my mind that you will make a great nurse !!
Aww, thank you for saying that. I've just been in your shoes and I know all the ups and downs that you go through while you wait. I drove myself nuts anyalyzing every little bit of information I got from other people who had been accepted. Try not to stress about it too much. I'm convinced there's no real rhyme or reason to how people are accepted. I have a friend who is graduating this May and she knows people who got in with C's in some of their sciences. That is just crazy considering what I thought I knew about what grades people had to have. You just never know.

I think that's what makes it so hard, you just feel like you have very little control over the process (except for your grades of course). I guess you just do your best and hope for a good result.
Hi Girls!!
I'm on a break and had to rush to the computer lab to let you guys know....
THE LETTERS GO OUT THIS WEEK!!!
I talked to the secretary and the letters are on her desk getting ready to be mailed. I could actually see them!!! It will literally be any day. I figure they'll go out by Wednesday. They like to send them out all at once. Gosh, I'm sooooo excited!!!
AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! How exciting!!!Katy - if I PM you my full name think you can dig through the stack??? I'm totally just kidding - I'm not that psycho! ROFL
ROFL!!! I would, but, I don't want to know before you do. Besides, I wouldn't want to hinder the stalking of the mailman in any way. LOL!!
