Tarrant County College?

Hello to everyone! I'm brand new to this site, but already finding lots of great information. Are any of you familiar with or applying to Tarrant County College ASN program? I'm in the dreaded wait until the first part of May. I took my TEAS exam last weekend and did really well so I'm hoping for the best! I look forward to getting to know each of you better.

Katy, are they the big brown envelopes like I heard in an earlier post ? Brown envelopes if your accepted and white if your not.

I hope you guys get the answers you want too!! Yes, the acceptance packets come in a brown packet envelope and the decline/alternate list letters come in a letter size envelope.

I'll probably get the letter (hopefully the packet) quicker because I live in the same zip code as the college. I'm sooo nervous !!!

I probably shouldn't worry about it, but I'm terrified I'm going to get an alternate letter. For me, that just means I can't get on with my life (one way or the other) for another who knows how long!

Could be! Usually we get mail from just about anywhere in the metroplex the next business day but you could very well know a day ahead. Wow - it's just getting so down to the wire!!

Katy, I'll bet you'll be so glad when we find out something. We're probably driving you crazy. Well, it's been fun, that's for sure. I'm tempted to go to the campus tomorrow to see if the envelopes are still on the secs desk....Today, I thought about calling my post office to ask them if they have a bunch of brown envelopes ready to mail out. Crazy, huh ?

It's really funny, you'd think that you were waiting to be accepted instead of us. I know that you're excited for us though. I just hope and pray that we get a good outcome and that we can meet you at orientation.

Now let the mailman stalking begin for sure !!!!! hehehehe

I'm thinking they probably won't go out until Weds. They could go out tomorrow, but it looked like she still had a lot of work to do to get them ready. They try to send the packets and the letters out on the same day. I think you'll have an answer by Friday at the latest. Hang in there...it's THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!!

I enjoy being a cheerleader. LOL!! I know first hand how hard you've worked to get to this point and how hard the waiting game is. Plus, I'm excited to see some TCC folks on here. There's alot of people on the boards that go to El Centro and North Lake so it's fun to have some friends on the boards who are close by. I'm rootin for ya!!
