I haven't found a thread for Spring 2014 TCC nursing applicants, so I thought I would start one! I still have 2 more classes to complete before I can officially apply. I have an A in A&P I, and hope to have an A in A&PII this semester. I scored 92.5 on my HESI, but I might re-take it.
Who else is applying and what does everyone else have?? :)
Hey y'all! Let me just say that I'm glad first session summer classes are almost over. I'm taking Fed Govt and Texas Govt. blah! Anyway, I'm getting super nervous and excited that its almost application time. I'm thinking of taking Statistics and College Algebra online this fall. Has anyone done that or know someone who did?
Hello all! I am new to the site but this is good support! :) I have not taken my HESI yet but am applying in Sept with a 4.0 GPA. Any good tips or stories of acceptance?
Make sure you brush up on ratios, know how to convert decimals to fractions, and study the vocb. Use the evolve Hesi study guide :)

Why are you taking statistics and college algebra? Is it to go towards your bachelors?
Yes- I'm trying to complete as many of the non-nursing bachelor courses as I can. I also have to do the second half of us history and an English lit or philosophy course. Are you going for your bachelors after your associates?
I do want to go towards my bachelors but haven't looked into it at all yet. What bachelors program are you looking toward applying? Is there a lot of extra classes that need to be taken in order to apply?

Sorry for the delayed reply! I finished up both of my A&P's with A's and am currently taking Micro. I'm also taking Chemistry this Summer II session, then I will be heading off to apply! Eeek, so nerve-racking! I hope we all get accepted!
