Tarrant County College Spring 2014

U.S.A. Texas

I haven't found a thread for Spring 2014 TCC nursing applicants, so I thought I would start one! I still have 2 more classes to complete before I can officially apply. I have an A in A&P I, and hope to have an A in A&PII this semester. I scored 92.5 on my HESI, but I might re-take it.

Who else is applying and what does everyone else have?? :)

So that means taking the test at a TCC facility only allows you to take it once? or does TCC only allow you to take it twice overall.

Thank you in advance. ;-)

I do not believe there is any limit to how many times you can take the test. With TCC you can only take it once there during their application period. So you could take it at TCC and take it at another school if you wanted. The issue you may run in to is most of the universities locally only allow their students to take it or if you are applying to their school.

Great point. Thank you for your help.

According to the TCC site, their limit is twice with them. I took the test a second time at TCU and haven't applied yet. The process is long, but I love that it is all online. The cost is ridiculous though... $50 now. It was $40 when I tested.

Good luck to you @Nursinghopeful817

Thanks tiffanies. I pray Fall 2014 is my time!

I was notified of my acceptance on the 6th of November for the 2014 class. I had an A in the 4 sciences and a 94.5 HESI. The lowest admitted student last year was an 88 HESI and the lowest GPA was a 3.75. They Absolutely do not look at anything besides those two things.

They are suppose to start calling alternates this week from what I heard to fill spots for the ones who did not accept the acceptance. Would like to hear if an alternate gets called. I am a provisional alternate with an 3.5 gpa and a 90.5 Hesi.

HELP!!!! I am currently a Spring 2014 Nursing Student. I am in section A class schedule.

I need to switch to Section B Schedule.

THANKS!!

I had a 3.75 science gpa and a 88 on my hesi and I was accepted. I also finished all my prerequisites for uta that I can take at tcc. There are a few more classes I would have to take only at uta. So with that being said I have my associate of arts degree. I think that helped some. Your transcripts or degree audit say a lot about you and a lot of people don't take that into consideration. They look at how many classes you re-took, your dedication, and how many classes you took. They might not be the major parts they look that gets you in but it is looked over.
