Just took NCLEX- Stopped at 75
My test stopped at 75 also. About 10 SATA I think and a lot of Prioritization, some meds, teaching - which shows understand or need for further teaching, a therapeutic communication question, 2 psychs, delegation, and 1 EKG and the rest I had never heard of before. When it shut off, I honestly did not know what to think aside from the test being "out there" with respect to questions and topics ...really random. I was confident in about 5 of the answers I selected and did my best to eliminate the false answers. I am not sick or excited...more dazed and waiting on the results. I am not doing the PVT.

Tarrant County College Fall 2014 Nursing Program
I second futurenurse1211. With 3-4 weeks left in the semester I started out super stressed. It is still stressful because you have to focus on each class and give each attention. You will second guess yourself, cry, be sleepy, pick yourself up... and move forward. don't be up on campus everyday all day.... that's ridiculous. It's doable if your dedicated to it without spending 7 hours a day on it.

TCC Spring 2015 Applicants
Clinical is all day from 630am to 630pm. My theory is at 1 to 315 and skills from 9 to noon. Hybrid theory is 3 weeks on campus and after the first test online. It rotates after every test fin what I was told but don't quote me on that one I'll know more after orientation.

TCC Spring 2015 Applicants
Hi! I am in the Fall 2014 class and you do NOT get to choose your schedule for the first semester. You can switch with another student if they are willing and want what you've got. I have T/TH Theory, T Skills, Wed Clinical. I am lucky enough to like my schedule though I did not get the hybrid lecture that I wanted but that may be a blessing.

I've seen people get accepted with those scores. You can retest though.

TCC Spring 2015 Applicants
TCC doesn't go by any point system that they make us aware of. What I have heard that they factor half your science GPA and half your HESI and come up with some magic number. Academic advisors have told me have a higher science GPA and HESI .

El Centro Spring 2015
Lol. I took basic health skills with you last winter. I don't think I called you by your first name in class. But yes, it all worked out the way I wanted. All I have to do now is figure out my work schedule.

the lowest gpa I saw was 3.5. Not sure on the HESI. TCC has a presentation that lists the stats for the Spring semester of this year.

If I can suggest ... Check out all of the HESI quizlets online. I promise you, the HESI is not hard. If you are not good with fractions, conversions, and changing percents to decimals and back...definitely brush up on that. Also this site may help some HESI A2 - The #1 FREE HESI A2 Exam Study Guide SiteGood Luck!

El Centro Fall 2015
The shots are not required to take either class but if anyone is going into the health care field, you'll need those shots and for shots like Hep B, one would need to be close to done before clinicals.
