I haven't found a thread for Spring 2014 TCC nursing applicants, so I thought I would start one! I still have 2 more classes to complete before I can officially apply. I have an A in A&P I, and hope to have an A in A&PII this semester. I scored 92.5 on my HESI, but I might re-take it.

Who else is applying and what does everyone else have?? :)

Hello All!

I am getting ready to finish my last pre-req for nursing. Should be applying with a 3.75. Need to take HESI. Wondering if I should retake A&P I since my 88 doesn't count for anything! Good luck to all applying!

Hmm, well according to the 'TCC fall 2013' thread, quite a few people just got accepted with a 3.75 gpa. However, they did do well on the HESI. When do you plan on taking the exam?

I have already taken it. I took it one day without studying to see how I would do and what I needed to work on and, made an 80? I was more concerned with making an A in A&P II this semester than anything. So once spring semester is over is study, study, study for the HESI!

Hey! I'm also new to this forum! I applied at the end of Feb. for the Fall 2013 with a 4.0 and a 95% on the HESI. I was hoping to receive an email today notifying me of my admission status. Does anyone know when they will start letting the applicants know?? The website states May 1st. I'm dying here...

My best friend Kyle got accepted today with the same 4.0 and 95!

Yeah, definitely. I would study and try to ace the hesi. You can do it!!! :) Honestly, I wouldn't retake that class. You're competitive with your current gpa.

Im planning on taking Chem this summer with *******. Does anyone know him or has taken him for that class? If I make an A in Chem ill have a 4.0 for Science GPA. I still havent taken the Hesi though..

Uh oh, I don't think we're allowed to post professors' names. :/ what campus do you attend? I took chemistry my 1st semester, and honestly, it's not that tough. It's pretty much all the same material from hs. I got a 98%. If you're worried though, I recommend you go to ratemyprofessor.com. I heard it's very insightful haha

Thanks! Now that the spring semester is over I will be applying with a 4.0 and 94 HESI. Also trying to get a PCT or transporter job at Harris Methodist in Alliance. Just waiting for summer semester to start. Is anyone else taking summer classes?
