I haven't found a thread for Spring 2014 TCC nursing applicants, so I thought I would start one! I still have 2 more classes to complete before I can officially apply. I have an A in A&P I, and hope to have an A in A&PII this semester. I scored 92.5 on my HESI, but I might re-take it.
Who else is applying and what does everyone else have?? :)
Hello everyone. I just recently made the decision to drop out of court reporting school and become a nurse and eventually a Certified Nurse Midwife. I am starting fresh with no college. I know I will need a BSN to get where I want to go. I am asking this here because you all know where you are going and I thought you might could point me in the right direction. I live in the Keller area so this program is the closest I know of. Would it be best to go ahead and get all BSN pre-reqs? I know at TWU or Baylor it is a 4 year program. What is the best way to go about obtaining a BSN. Also, does anyone know what a schedule looks like in the TCC nursing program? Is it 5 days a week? Thank you all so much in advance. I am following and hoping for acceptance for you all!! How exciting :)
I submitted my app yesterday. I'm applying with 3.75 and a 94 on hesi. Advisor told me I would be fine with getting the Hep A late. I went to Walgreens the same day, ins. does cover it usually, got my shot then I took a pic and emailed the advisor my proof of immunization.
She told me my grades looked really good, but not sure if she's basing that off other grades she's seen this period.
I noticed someone else said we only have 5 days to accept admittance, does anyone else know this to be true? I'll be out of town around that time, this makes me nervous.
Today is the last day to apply!! Anyone else as nervous as I am? I was reading the Spring 2013 thread and looking at their scores but their GPAs seemed to be a bit lower than ours. It is going to be really competitive!
indeed it is... considering the overall HESI score really means nothing, it will be interesting to say the least. Good luck everyone!
