The dialog is open for those who have never applied and those who have applied multiple times. Let's discuss our frustrations, stats, best practices for study and the HESI, where you are at achieving your goal, and if you plan to apply anywhere else.
I have applied and was turned down 3.50 Science, 90 HESI, 970 Critical thinking (for another nursing program). I was knocked down, but I refuse to stay there.
For spring 2014 orientation we had to submit a 3"x3" photo. They are probably just requiring it sooner now. I think they just want a recent photo of applicants. Drivers license and school id photos can be quite old. Also found out last week they now have counselors again in the other building room 4008. The lady I spoke to said to call first before you come just in case, but their hours are something like 8 or 9am to 5pm Mon-Fri I think.

I can understand at the orientation but not before. They should want other stuff like physical exam forms and all shots completed but.... Going with the flow until I can't take it any more...lol
Oh, I get it now. Yeah they shouldn't really need it for potential nursing students just for alternates and accepted students. Yeah it's weird how they would want that up front and not the more important stuff like you said. Sometimes I feel like asking them why things are the way they are especially at orientation during their Q&A session that would be fun. Like why are we not allowed to know our rank for the regular tcc applicants.

That would be fun.... You don't want my complete shot record but you want my picture? Huh? LOL... I just see trouble with that... especially from people who don't get picked and feel they should have....
