Hey everyone!!! I just got accepted into the TCC program for the spring in 2009 and I am hoping someone else from TCC will find me on here that I can be excited with! If anyone has any suggestions for nursing school, PLEASE post it on here... I need all the help I can get!
I would like to meet some of you, so i can have some sort of support group. I'm not sure if we would be able to study together though because I got accepted into a satellite program. Not sure how that would work. If you guys dont mind that I'm in the MCA program, i wont have ANY classes or clinicals with you, i will still need to know the same material and still be going through the same trials and tribulations.
The coffee shop by the bookstore sounds great. If everything goes well I'll probably be there between 6:30-7:00.
I'll be the girl with shoulder-length brown hair, glasses, and a green messenger bag. My name's Elizabeth, although you can call me Liz or Lizzie or whatever's easiest.
I know what you mean about not believing this is actually happening. Not too long ago I was in high school not sure what in the world I wanted to do. I've bounced from animation to psychology to veterinarian and so on. Now in about two years hopefully I'll be an R.N. and ready to move out on my own.
Congratulations to all of you who will be starting in the spring! I hope all of you have a good day at orientation. You will get a lot of info in one day. You should also get your schedules for the spring. I hope all of you get great professors and that your first semester will be a good experience. If you have questions, feel free to ask, and if you are in the nursing building, just ask one of the students ahead of you. We have all been where you are, and the majority of us are willing to help if we can. Good luck to all of you!!!

Thank you for your input! It helps so much. Do you go to TCC now for NS?
Yes, I am currently in the nursing program at TCC. I will be starting my last semester in January and, if everything goes as planned, I will finish in May. The time goes by so fast. Let me know how the orientation goes. Hopefully, you will have all of your questions answered and will get a chance to meet with some of the people you will be going through the program with. Have a great day!!! :hpygrp:
so, we had orientation today and it was as much as it was

How about around 7? Registration starts at 7:30 so that should give us enough time to get down there. Does that work for you or did you have a different time in mind?
