Taking NCLEX-RN - March 3, 2009

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi Guys,

Im taking NCLEX RN this coming March 3, 2009 and I use Kaplan for my practice test esp Qbank and I range from 53 to 78%, average score of 63-65%. I have used exam cram also after doing all the questions on Kaplan. I use saunders for reference.

Im really nervous. D'you think guys I use the right materials? And that I'll be able to make it? I hope its not suicide.

How much is that Kaplan QBank and where can I buy it? I have ATI and an online instructor, and have the Kaplan Question Trainer ,, I also have the NCLEX 4000 disc, so I have an abundance of materials. I have studied all thru school on questions so I really don't know how much more prepared I could be. It is difficult tho that after I have studied so much to still only score in the 50's and 60's on most of the tests and I think that is why I am still feeling like I am maybe not prepared enough ?????

Qbank is $299. Hmmm... If you have studied well on those materials, then you should do well on the exam.

Hey guys! I will take my nclex-rn on April 20. I am using saunders 7th ed'n and kaplan qbank. I am just worried because my ratings in kaplan are not good...average of 55-60%.:scrying: Do you think I can have the chance to pass the exam?

Other than that, I am also concern of the time schedule I chose for my exam, which is 12:15 PM. Do you think this is sufficient for me? :( I know the exam plan should be 6 hours. The testing centers has only two schedules: 8 AM and 12:15 PM. I feel I am more productive in the afternoon sched.

To those who are yet to test, you guys can PM me and I can give you some pointers on how to review the NCLEX RN.

hi! im gona take mine this june 2..and im sooo scared! huhuhu... im self reviewing..im using kaplan and lipncot as my study guide..all my cousins passed already so the pressure is totally extreme... and my kaplan scores are so low, like 50-60% only.. im soo depresed and feeling hopless...plz help

This is my first time on writing on the site. I took my nclex for the second time yesterday and answered 253 questions. I think I failed and am feeling very upset. I have cried since I left the testing center. I had 5 dosing questions and messed up the conversion from mcg to mg by one decimal. I am losing faith as I see all the people I graduated with in May working as RNs.

Specializes in Med/Surg n ICU.
