I'm a Philippine educated nurse 2006 graduate and will be taking the exam in a couple days. I reviewed with Kaplan. I prepared as much as i can with the time that I had a everytime i think about test day my stomach does cartwheels and backflips.

Any advice from anyone who has sat NCLEX will be much appreciated.

Update. Test ended at 85 question. From everything ive read i dis either really good or really bad.

I wanted to faint after the computer shut off on me. I tried recallimg my questions but everything became a blurr. I found myself sitting at a starbucks several minutes later feeling defeated, tired and disappointed

Ofcourse.. i tried the PVT. Immeadiately after the test. And several more times with in the first 24 hour even though i read several comments that say to wait 24hours. It was the only thing that would calm my nerves. Got the good pop up all throughout, even after 24 hours. It's almost 48 hours.. quick results aren't in yet. But the good pop up is still there.

I am constantly on my phone checking and checking. It's driving me crazy.

Fingers crossed that you passed.

I took mine today 3/10/16 I did pvt got good pop I hope we both passed

U only study for kaplan? Did you registered for a course? Im 2006 also, and not confident to take it.

How many satas, drags, calculations did you get? what areas were you tested in?

I graduated nursing in Philippines 10 years ago too, taken the test march 5th and saw my name on my bon rn roster 8am on the 7th.

How was your result?

I remembered i got a lot of prioritization (who would you see first) and infection control. Probably got about 5 to 6 questions on drugs and less SATA. everything is still a blurr.

Yes i took a course with the question bank. I found that nclex questions are similar to kaplan questions in way of format.

Its been more than 48 hours. Quick results are still not available. Texas BON has removed my info on their website... before you'd find the list of docs i needed to submit when you searched for my name but less than 24 hours aftr nclex i get the "0" search result. I don't feel all to great about that.

PVT still shows a good pop up.

I'm thinking the delay is to do with me being internationally educated but ofcourse there's this pessimistic voice in the back of my mind saying me not being on the bon's website any more and quick results delay directly equates to my failure on the test.
