CHOC RN Residency / Fellowship Program - October 2016 Cohort
No, I haven't heard of them. The program starts on oct 10. We have a the whole month of September to wait for them... For those who interviewed & hired, after you received your formal offer, what's steps did they say to take next? Or strictly nothing until October?

CHOC RN Residency / Fellowship Program - October 2016 Cohort
HR called me on 8/8. I applied for the ED, but they are currently not taking anyone in right now so she asked me if i wanted to do another specialty. It caught me off guard and was told to make a decision on the spot. I picked CVICU and the HR lady forwarded my application to their manager

ER Job opportunities
Question since we're in the topic of ED opportunity and do not want to start a new thread. Bsn new grad rn Currently in SoCal with 3 months of tele experience. when is it a good time to start looking for ED positions? I'd love to get place in the middle of the city with gsw, some trauma and etc something with high acuity and learning opportunities. I'd work at my current hospitals ED but we are a stroke center and get a lot of CP/stroke go who straight to cath lab and ppl who need a refill of prescriptions. which hospital should I look into for ED?

CA NCLEX RESULTS breakdown
Preface: Seems like there is a lot of new people here asking how long it took for their NCLEX results to show up on BREEZE. I am writing this per to my experience, research, and discussion. 1: Once you have completed your NCLEX, the Pearson Vue testing center should send out your results. If you are going to the the PVT, wait after 24 hours to do it because it is scored twice. PVT before 24 hours: you can get the bad pop up result & still pass the nclex but only before the 24th hour. CA does NOT participate in Quick Results. 1.1: BRN receives your results and it gets auto processed You get your results within 48-36 hour or within 5 business days excluding weekends and holidays. Your pending status goes away and your RN license # shows on the top right Your pending status goes away and your RN licnese # shows on the top right after 24 hours Your pending results disappear and receive a fail letter within 2 weeks 1.2: BRN receives your results and your get manually processed It can take up to 2-4 weeks. 1.3: It has been 2 weeks and still no results Most likely did not pass, wait for your fail letter in the mail. If you do the PVT and it takes your money, then you did not pass 1.3.1: It has been 2 weeks and still no results with PVT GOOD POP UP Call the BRN with this number (800) 838-6828 Ask if your file is complete or missing anything like your TRANSCRIPTS 2: its been 2 weeks+, PVT good pop up, No fail letter, and BRN file is complete It is most likely that your PEARSON VUE center DID NOT send in your results to the BRN. You can try to call your pearson vue center about your test results and if they have sent them. Apparently the BRN cannot officially do anything until you have waited the official 4-6 weeks wait time found here: Board of Registered Nursing - Processing Times epilogue: I waited 4 weeks for my results to come in. I called the BRN and they told me everything is complete. After the 4 weeks they found out that my results has not been sent in. They emailed their pearsonvue coordinator to retrieve my results & it showed up 24 hours later. Like stated above, BRN has a strict policy that they cannot do anything until the wait period is up. I even asked the BRN People to make sure that pearson vue sent in my results and they cannot tell you if they did or not. IDK WHY, but its their policy. CA BRN No NCLEX Result
mine just said pending because my results were not getting processed. when i checked breeeze, my pending status disappeared and my license showed up on the upper right corner. for me, it was instant i didnt see the pending disappear when they were processing it. i think they just process it and post it. theres no sign that theyre currently processing.

CA BRN No NCLEX Result
I got my results. On friday I said it's been a month and BRN website says 2-4 weeks and my results have not been posted guy says: Pearson never sent my results in... He contacts their Pearson coordinator to retrieve the results. He asked for my number, he said nothing may show until Monday. wait weekend... Waited for a call all day Monday.... Nothing checked breeze casually and saw my license. All day my status has been pending. I was caught off guard. for you tamana: I would just call and say "it's been a month and the BRN website says 2-4 weeks process time and it's been over 4 weeks and no results." Since there's no holds on your application like mine, there's a chance that Pearson did not send your results.
