i do not know what to say...
i was mad, sad, angry, felt worthless when i got the official results in the mail= FAIL....
i am planning to take test over again, i honestly do not know what to do differently...
i took review courses, i used like 5 different review books:
1. Excell Review- review course
2. Martin Review- review course
3. Saunders
4. Kaplan
5. Lipincott
6. Hurst
7. Pearson
8......................... and other things
I did like 3,000-5000 questions total... i was getting 80- 90%% scores overall...
I do not know what went wrong....
When i went to take the test, I froze... I had that moment of is this for real...
I felt like i was in a dream... after the test was done at 85 questions, i woke up from my dream...
What do i do???
planning to take test again... end of February or beginning or March...
thanks...

@guccibear ....
yea i know i was doing too much...
that is why i was having huge headaches after studying...
this time around, i am taking a little lighter, but still studying on important topics...
i just did ncsbn review this time and looked at some study material i had from before...
i take my test soon.....
march 9th...
i hope i pass, but you know what...

Okay....
I think i passed my nclex...
I took the test today...
I got 85 questions ...
(16 sata, 10 meds, some priority, and the rest were critical thinking, 1 picture, and 1 put in order)...
I did the pearson vue trick , and i got the good pop up....
Now i just have to wait for official results...
But i am so happy and relaxed now!!!!
Take care,
parveen...
I am officially a nurse.... woohooo.....
okay now i can tell my full story...
i am a mother of 2 children (2 girls), with one more child on the way.... i am actually 38 weeks pregnant... (due date is march 26)...2 days before my exam on march 9th, i was having contractions, but luckily it was false labor and just stress contractions...
when i sat for the test, i just remembered to relax... now i am a nurse and can finally relax and have this baby in peace...
first time i took the test, i studied way too much, (5000 questions, 2 different reviews, 5 different books)... and way too much anxiety issues going on.... this time i just took it easy, and did 50 questions a day and just read rationales and made sure i understand what i read... i also used the allnurses study guides and resources on here, and those helped a lot!!!
to all those still waiting to take the nclex... just relax... the stuff that comes on the screen, is stuff you know... just think and take your time... relax.... GOOD LUCK!!!
take care,
parveen

To OP: I have failed twice now and took Kaplan... I am going to take NCSBN review this time. It's a lot cheaper and I've found many positive posts about it. GL to you
