2015 Jan-Feb 2015 is up. they said they will increase the number of residency this year.

Good luck Ji1water, We all are in the same shoes. My interview was very similar to your interview. other folks out there how did you interview go? Did anybody got an offer yet? Good luck all!

Hi, sorry I've been lurking quite a bit on you guys. Do you know if there is a deadline for applying? I've just recently started to look for jobs so I applied on the 11th and most of you already had interviews. Do you think they're still accepting? They took my application but I'm not sure if that was just the computer system.

Hi, has anyone heard back regarding job offer? How long did they say they would take to make decisions?

They said two weeks. So we probably will not hear anything until next week.

@ luckyberries: I would suggest emailing the residency email and asking, I don't know if they are interviewing any more people or not.

It's time again, when we've to play the waiting game. Sending good vibes to every one.

Greetings everyone! I applied to Swedish residency in Sept and 3 weeks later, I received an email stating they are giving strong preference on BSN nurses and reapply once I get my degree (start my BSN program next month and will be done in a year). I thought it was interesting because yes I understand why preference is given to BSN nurses, but not only am I currently enrolled already to begin my BSN program, I have 3 years experience as a LPN and 3 years as a PCT. You would think that the past experience I have would be considered also lol. ADN grads do not get discouraged even with the denial from Swedish I'm happy to say I just accepted a position through Franciscan at St Clare hospital for their residency! I start November 10th and so excited to start!

Specializes in GI Surgery Step-down.

It's weird that than why they don't say only bsn application will be accepted. Good luck to u

I got a call from HR regarding job offer today! I am so excited! Anyone else? Would love to connect with anyone at Swedish Cherry Hill.

I am surprised that they turned away someone with experience who is also pursuing BSN. I think that speaks volumes about your commitment to nursing. I am sorry to hear that. However, it sounds like you have something pretty great lined up!

[COLOR=#003366]lovedogs31 Congratulations. I also got the offer, but I will be at the First hill Campus. did you got any follow up email to that? they said they will send an email following the job offer, to do the Background check and other paper work.... I know there is plenty of time to that but I was just curious. Any ways congratulation on your new job, I am excited as your.

Folks out there any person who got the offer? Sending good vibes to all!.

Congrats to all of you!

They don't seem to want people from out of town. I've applied to many jobs with Franciscan and didn't get a call for Swedish, even though I have a WA license. But I have interviews in North Carolina and Tennessee, with only a WA license! Go figure. lol! I seem to be destined to become a southern girl...

Hey NewYorkerGirl,

You were on the thread too right? Seems like we are applying to the same places! Have you heard anything from Swedish?

Hey NewYorkerGirl,

You were on the Vandy thread too right? Seems like we are applying to the same places! Have you heard anything from Swedish?

Yeah, I interviewed with Vanderbilt two weeks ago. I've applied many, many times to multiple WA hospitals and have had no calls for interviews, except Legacy, so I have quit looking in WA. I think they only want locals, so if you're not local lie and put a local address on your resume! I am focusing on the southern US now.

It does seem that way for WA! Hopefully says something great to us haha.
