I am so very sorry you are having this experience with NCLEX. It really is a terrible way to assess a nurse's ability to provide safe care- but it's the most cost effective and easiest way for the BON to do it, so they do! I hope you are able to take time for yourself to mentally prepare for this monstrous exam again. You can do it and you will. Best wishes to you.

Has anyone done a UA? I'm concerned that I'm not meeting deadlines/falling behind.

Hey all- did you get confirmation from HR background check folks that everything went through? I didn't get a phone call back, but I did get an email from the educator and about the meet and greet. Do you know when we do UA?

I do believe this cohort is finished from the emails I have been receiving. I would recommend emailing Swedish residency program and asking them when they will be interviewing for the next cohort. That way you can stay connected if you are still interested- they emailed me the day that the job listing opened. I missed the September cohort posting by a week and thought that it would be a while until the next one. I was mistaken, as I applied in Sept for Feb 2015 cohort! It won't be long until the next one.

I am surprised that they turned away someone with experience who is also pursuing BSN. I think that speaks volumes about your commitment to nursing. I am sorry to hear that.
