  1. Hi walad, yes, we are also experiencing that. Please read above messages from you.
  2. I am so very sorry you are having this experience with NCLEX. It really is a terrible way to assess a nurse's ability to provide safe care- but it's the most cost effective and easiest way for the BON to do it, so they do! I hope you are able to take time for yourself to mentally prepare for this monstrous exam again. You can do it and you will. Best wishes to you.
  3. Thanks grownuprosie. I know, I was thinking everything was fine but had a moment of hesitation. Did you get call back from HR? I think It's okay, as the meet and greet is coming up soon anyway.
  4. Has anyone done a UA? I'm concerned that I'm not meeting deadlines/falling behind.
  5. Hey all- did you get confirmation from HR background check folks that everything went through? I didn't get a phone call back, but I did get an email from the educator and about the meet and greet. Do you know when we do UA?
  6. I do believe this cohort is finished from the emails I have been receiving. I would recommend emailing Swedish residency program and asking them when they will be interviewing for the next cohort. That way you can stay connected if you are still interested- they emailed me the day that the job listing opened. I missed the September cohort posting by a week and thought that it would be a while until the next one. I was mistaken, as I applied in Sept for Feb 2015 cohort! It won't be long until the next one.
  7. Hi There, I just checked my application status on Swedish job site and it says application withdrawn! Does anyone else's say this? I turned in my signed offer and background check a week and half ago!
  8. To those who have done Background check: how long did it take you/how long was turn around?
  9. Hi there, Has anyone else gotten the official letter in mail? :/ I am so antsy!
  10. Hi all- I have not gotten an email yet. Updates on this would be appreciated! Does your online status say anything different? Mine says: Interview complete.
  11. I got a call from HR regarding job offer today! I am so excited! Anyone else? Would love to connect with anyone at Swedish Cherry Hill. I am surprised that they turned away someone with experience who is also pursuing BSN. I think that speaks volumes about your commitment to nursing. I am sorry to hear that. However, it sounds like you have something pretty great lined up!
  12. Hi, has anyone heard back regarding job offer? How long did they say they would take to make decisions?
  13. Hi there, has anyone had their panel interview??
  14. I did get my first choice. However, I think it was because I had a clinical there. How are you preparing for the panel? Pretty nervous over here!!
  15. Hi there, I went in for my second interview with manager who told me that I would be going to the 3rd interview (panel). That was a week ago and I haven't heard from recruiter/manager regarding scheduling. For those of you who are scheduled for the panel: Did the manager or recruiter contact you? Thanks!! Good luck uptotheskies and grownuprosie on your interviews! :)
  16. Abalone- did they tell you at your interview that you would be recommended?! If so, wow! Good for you! Quick turn around! Has anyone heard back for panel interview?
  17. Interesting. I bet it doesn't mean anything- from reading the other threads, the online updates do not seem to be consistent. Thanks Walad, I know, but it is hard! Did HR tell you a rough estimate of when to expect the interview?? What specialties/units are you interested in?
  18. Hi uptotheskies- I am feeling nervous about the interview, I tend to ramble as well! I am just going through questions and thinking about ways that I can respond. It's difficult because I don't want to be too prepared and come off not genuine, but I want to present myself well. :) What address did you use to send your card to HR, if you can share. Have you heard any updates? It's so great that there is all nurses, it makes me feel a little bit better talking to someone who is going through the same thing! Has anyone else heard updates???
  19. Thank you! I emailed HR and said thank you and she emailed me 2 business days after I came in. I am very excited! Did HR tell you if you are going in for 2 interviews (with manager and then with panel) or just one (panel)? How well versed are you with the interview questions? Preparation is HARD for me. Good luck to you, you sound very enthusiastic! :)
  20. I chose telemetry and med/surg. I heard back from HR that I am recommended to move to next interview, but haven't heard back since. It's been over a week. I want to email and check in, but I don't want to be a pest. :/ How is everyone feeling about the interview process? This is my first 'real' job interview! I am feeling nervous and excited at the same time! :)
  21. Uptotheskies- did they tell you when they would get back to you?
  22. Walad: did you meet with manager already? Someone always responds to emails- I think they must have hired someone specifically to only do that!
  23. Congratulations uptotheskies! I would have a good idea of why you want to be on specific units, why swedish, what was your favorite clinical, talking about school/work experiences. What units are you interested in? Good luck! :)
  24. I think that email is the best way to reach them! That's how I have.
