Hi everyone,

I just inquired about the nurse residency programs at Swedish and received an email about the programs beginning in January and February. When I searched for the job numbers in the email I did not find anything. I see that many of you applied for the programs several months ago - do you know if they are still accepting applications or if their email is out of date?

Hey Willimina - I am on the same boat as you I mostly rely on those job notifications and I never received any for this residency until end of last week and when I searched for it, it was already closed. Fortunately, I had heard about it from a nurse who currently works there and applied on the 17th, when the application was still open. I have emailed the hr and haven't heard back yet and I feel that all those vacancies must be filled by now:( do u by any chance have their hr phone number cause whenever I call it is always an automated message.

Hi There, I just checked my application status on Swedish job site and it says application withdrawn! Does anyone else's say this? I turned in my signed offer and background check a week and half ago!

Check with them to make sure they know that you are still interested.

When I use my iPhone to check the status of my application that 'withdraw' button is so close to it that you might have withdrawn yourself ... I thought the applicants are the ones who can withdraw from any position.

got the offer letter yesterday as well. finally... just a few more hoops and we will be Swedish nurses!

Don't wait until the last minute to do all the paperwork they sent. It took me way longer than expected.

Look forward to meeting you all at the meet and greet in January!

I do believe this cohort is finished from the emails I have been receiving. I would recommend emailing Swedish residency program and asking them when they will be interviewing for the next cohort. That way you can stay connected if you are still interested- they emailed me the day that the job listing opened. I missed the September cohort posting by a week and thought that it would be a while until the next one. I was mistaken, as I applied in Sept for Feb 2015 cohort! It won't be long until the next one.
