This is such a crazy time and I hope you guys are all healthy & safe. I applied for the Swedish RN residency for august 2020 and haven't heard anything. I know its a weird time but I graduate in 2 weeks and haven't heard anything. Has anyone heard anything about the august 2020 residency?
I had applied for the March cohort in February but wasn't going to be able to get my WA license in time (CA new grad here) so I requested to be considered for the August cohort. Applied as soon as it opened, got an on-demand video prompt directly following submitting my app, and then was contacted for a Zoom interview with CVICU Cherry Hill maybe a few weeks later? I can't really remember. I got my results back later that week with an offer.
For me it was a very good interview experience. Every unit will be different but they were very kind and asked a few ice breaker questions to loosen up the interviewees, and then asked the typical expected questions like describe a time when you had a conflict with a coworker, describe your most challenging patient, why Swedish specifically, and the like. I believe it was about half an hour to forty minutes but I could be wrong.

@amazinggrace How long did it take to endorse your license from CA to WA?
So who all is starting at Swedish this August? I accepted a spot in med/surg - ortho on the First Hill campus. Looking forward to starting, but have some nerves about going into nursing during this pandemic! Especially because I know the ortho unit turned into a Covid unit due to it's private, negative air flow rooms. But I think most units became a Covid unit during the peak.

CONGRATS! I will also be at Cherry Hill. I am relocating from CA to WA!
@amazinggrace Awesome! I will be relocating from Mississippi. Are you doing CV? Maybe we will be in same classes/orientation since both doing ICU? Have you found a place to live yet? I was offered a position in CV after accepting the neuro one, but the heart freaks me out haha. The manager seems super friendly and chill though! Not sure if you already know, but we wear navy scrubs at Cherry Hill (just found that out LOL).
Hi @amazinggrace and @haleyc522!! I see you both are starting at Cherry Hill in August! I am too in the ED. I am also relocating. I am curious how apartment hunting is going for you both?

Would you be able to tell me what the interview was like? I think I got a late spot interview for the ED. Which location if you don't mind me asking?
