This is such a crazy time and I hope you guys are all healthy & safe. I applied for the Swedish RN residency for august 2020 and haven't heard anything. I know its a weird time but I graduate in 2 weeks and haven't heard anything. Has anyone heard anything about the august 2020 residency?

I was told I received the last ED spot. No prior connections. I received a list of all other opportunities and it had only med/surg and psych units.

@chemistRN did you accept the position? Which ED location did you interview for?
Hi everyone! I submitted my app 3/19, got my video interview the next day & completed it on 3/24. My top 2 were NICU and Peds for First Hill but the recruiter reached out to me on 3/26 that they already had enough candidates for those units by that time so she matched me with Postpartm at the Issaquah campus. I received an invite to interview on 4/1 and did it on 4/6! The managers didn’t really have a timeline for me to hear back so I’m still waiting if I get an offer ? . Side note: I also got my reference check the same day I got invited to interview which was interesting as I hadn’t interviewed yet?

Can anybody that already have the interview share how their experience was? What types of questions? thanks!
Thank you, ToBeaPediatric_nurse,
I am having a video interview tomorrow too.
Hi! I was wondering if anyone accepted their residency offers. I applied pretty late back in March from out of state. I did my video interview and a recruiter got in contact with me. Honestly, the experience was a little offputting. The recruiter just kept on using words like "filling up" and kept pressuring me to choose less competitive departments. I applied to ED first hill. I stood my ground and said that my first choices were ED first hill and then cherry hill and I chose another unit in FH...I don't even remember as my third choice.
The recruiter pretty much ghosted me and I moved on thinking I wasn't even going to get an interview...randomly out of nowhere I got an email asking if I was still interested in the ED this weekend.
Today another recruiter got in contact with me and I have 2 interviews scheduled for ED FH and CH with the hiring managers.
I think pretty much what happened was that the spots were filled but then became open again once people got more job offers.

Hey!! So I submitted an application end of February and was invited for a video interview the day after. I completed it (did take some time because I kept messing up). After submitting, the same recruiter contacted me asking for my top 2 pics. She said she would pass my application along and asked if I would be interested in interviewing early if chosen (they started interviewing mid/late March). A couple of weeks later I was scheduled for online interviews with neuro and cardiac ICU. After about a month, I had not received any updates, neither had my recruiter... so I had given up. The night before last I conceded and submitted an application to where I go to school in Mississippi, and the day after I was offered a position at Swedish. I think I was probably a plan B pic, but I don’t always have to be everyone’s plan A. I still haven’t accepted, have to figure out some financial logistics.. but don’t give up hope, they still had many med-surg and psych positions. It also took a lot longer to get an offer compared with other places I have applied. Good luck!
also, has anyone accepted a position?
