Has anyone attended this school or know anything about it? I know they have recently become ACEN accredited but there doesn't seem to be much information on here about it since it's a newer program. Any info is much appreciated!!!
Anyone?????

Waiting for replies too but there is very little information about this school anywhere. I asked a friend who is a nurse if having the acen accreditation enough and she said no so I'm not sure about them especially because of the cost of tuition. What other school did you get accepted to I saw your previous post
The other school I was considering is a community college in my home town in Arizona. But the school just had its ACEN accreditation yanked and it does NOT have a good reputation! Everyone is always saying how for profit schools are bad but I guess I just assumed ACEN accreditation is the most important thing? Maybe I'm wrong? Just wish I knew more about this school! Have you applied anywhere else?
I assumed the same thing but she quickly let me know it's not enough I attend the community college here I'm taking prerequisites so I can apply to the program there

I recently went to an open house for the school (my 2nd time). The first time i went their accreditation was in limbo and they had all these "rules" and fees about transfer credits. My most recent visit actually had a calmer more professional tone to it. Their accreditation since has been approved and the curriculum does not look bad at all compared to other schools. But the tuition is a tad steep for a ADN.
Agreed. The tuition is steep. I'm hoping to soften the blow by having most if not all of my non-nursing classes done before I start. Have the rules changed about transferring credit?
To transfer credits I was told it's $50 per credit you want to have transferred in and it had to be equivalent to their class requirements, which in sorry they can pick and choose what they want to take.
But now they are giving new students an IPAD as an incentive.
I also heard the some school will not honor their nursing credits, they won't transfer to a BSN program especially within CUNY schools. (Not sure if that info helps)
$50 a credit to transfer in? That sounds ridiculous I think I'll pass

Wow 50 to transfer in? That seems a bit ridiculous have you been to any other open houses?
I've had the opportunity to speak to some CUNY schools (lehman, hostos cc, bcc, Hunter, and bmcc) I also went to an NYU open house and visited LIU Brooklyn campus.
CUNY schools are so competitive to get in but if u have a high GPA and pre-reqs are in good standing you have a high chance of getting in, but you have to be accepted into the school first before you can apply.
