Took mine last Nov 2008 and I failed. End up with 75 q's no math, q's we're easy so thinking about it now for sure those q's are below the passing rate..... Now I will take it again for the 2nd time... I dont wanna end with 75 anymore hehe;p I'd rather take it up to 265 ive learned my lesson take the exam slowly and understanding it more before clicking the 'NEXT' button.

Specializes in Orientation hahahaha.

75 questions 45 min. Passed NCLEX RN. No dose cal or OB. Lots of infection controle and select all that apply. Only one place in order and it was easy. Had another friend that passed Hesi and failed in NCLEX Rn in 75. Seems like more than 2 dose cals with 75 questions is a fail. But, thats almost mean to say, probably doesn't hold water but, its what I have seen.

I took mine today, stopped at 75 questions after an hour and 15 minutes or so.

TONS of SATA, tons of pharm, tons of infection control/isolation precautions, some peds. Absolutely no ob/maternal, no pharm calculations, no drag/drop.

Did the Pearson trick and it wouldn't let me register, so here's to hoping!

do you mean that if people get more than two dosage calculations, its most likely a fail? well if that is what you meant, i'm not sure its accurate, i had like 5 med calculations and 75 quetions and passed!

Specializes in Psychiatric Nurse.

i agree with you. i am not sure where jdub3 got his/her information about dosage calculation on the nclex; but it is definitely not correct. i along with many others have had 5, 6, 8+, dosage calculation questions (simple conversion though iv titration)...and we all passed!!!

Did we take the same test?? Mine sounds exactly like yours. i did mine on august 5th 75 questions in 1 hour found out i passed.

Took NCLEX on August 5th, stopped at 75. Took me an hour and half to finish. 2 dosage, 1 maternity and lots and lots of priority questions and infection control. Some pharm qs too. Anxiety was way high but I passed! I made someone look at the quick results to verify what I saw.

Sorry to hear you failed. DO NOT rush to resit and give yourself a break before starting over again. You can do this just look at this as a hurdle you have to cross. Good luck
