SUNY Farmingdale Spring 2015

Published

Has anyone else applied for Spring 2015? I sent in my application/transcripts about a month ago. I spoke to a guy in admissions yesterday, he told me in about 2 weeks letters will be going out saying to schedule interviews directly with the nursing department. After all the interviews, the nursing department will chose 50 students and acceptance letters would be going out around Dec. 1st. Does anyone know how many students typically apply to this program?

Yea I'm hoping oasis is at least updated today if we don't receive any letters!

I just checked...still nothing! :nailbiting:

Maybe we should contact admissions for the 100th time haha

Check your Oasis! I was accepted! FYI for all those accepted. They said we have an orientation on January 7th and get advised that day so we can register.

What are your stats like? =]

I already have a BS. This would be a second degree for me. So I took a lot of science courses. I got A's in almost every science and chem course I ever took which included A and P I and II. I took the TEAS got an 88 which said I beat out 98% of the students who took it of Farmingdale. I also have my phlebotomy certification and I was a medical assistant. So Im sure all of that together they looked at.

Wowzers, okay =] Those are some great stats, maybe you're probably one of the first few to get your acceptance. My status hasn't change yet.

Mine says accepted!!!

Congrats to everyone who got accepted...mine still says wait listed-post conditions...

Congrats on getting accepted!! However, I feel like you short changed yourself. Farmingdale's program is minimun of 3 years to complete. You could have applied for a 1 year accelerated program at Stonybrook, Molloy, NYU since you already have a BS :(
