  1. Thanks!! I have to go find that Paperwork now! I must have mixed it in with the paperwork from other schools í ½í¸•
  2. Hey guys! I finally made my decision and decided to go to Valdosta. I chose Drexel but then when I visited it, I hated it! Im excited to start classes. Im going down next week to check out apartments. I looked up some reviews for the apartment complexes and they were pretty bad (roach infested! Ewww!). So, I think I might rent a house. They have some pretty great prices for houses in Valdosta (but thats my opinion because I live in NY and to rent a house its at least $2,500). Do you guys know when orientation is? The one online says June but our classes start in May so that cant be right. I want to know what scrubs to order and what supplies we need so I can order them. Anyway, Im excited to meet you girls!!!
  3. Hey guys! I thought I would start a thread (because I didn't find one) for anyone who has applied to the accelerated program for fall 2015 start.
  4. Hey guys, The orientation is on Friday, right? I lost my letter but then I got an email confirming the orientation on the 12th.
  5. For those who were accepted, what are you doing for housing? Are you going to dorm at Drexel or find an apartment? I really dont want to dorm especially because the dorms don't look very nice.
  6. I got accepted to 5 accelerated programs but none were in NY. All of the other programs were at least $30,000. 4 semesters at farmingdale is about $14,000 which is a big difference. The minimum 3 years to complete is referring to the entire "4 year" bachelor program. I already have an associates in liberal arts and a BS in science technology. I already finished all my pre reqs so I just have to take the nursing classes. The credits to complete the 2nd half after the associates is 62 credits. Going full time that can be finished in 4 semesters. All accelerated programs are 3 to 4 semesters long anyway.
  7. I already have a BS. This would be a second degree for me. So I took a lot of science courses. I got A's in almost every science and chem course I ever took which included A and P I and II. I took the TEAS got an 88 which said I beat out 98% of the students who took it of Farmingdale. I also have my phlebotomy certification and I was a medical assistant. So Im sure all of that together they looked at.
  8. Check your Oasis! I was accepted! FYI for all those accepted. They said we have an orientation on January 7th and get advised that day so we can register.
  9. I just spoke to admissions again and now they said they are going to start sending out acceptances next week. This is a little frustrating. I got accepted into other schools and need to give in my deposit for them if I don't get into Farmingdale.
  10. Hopefully today is the day we all find out!
  11. I don't think that can be correct. Maybe they will send out letters to their first choices for the program. Usually you have a specific time period to let them know if you are accepting the offer or not, then they will let their second choices know if they were accepted. A lot of schools do that. They usually do interviews in sequence by who their top choices are. Example: If you were offered the first round of interview dates then you were at the top of their list.
  12. I checked mine and it still says "wait listed- post conditions"
  13. Ugh it seems like its taking forever. I was just worried about registering for classes since its taking them so long.
  14. Has anyone heard back yet?
  15. What time did they call you?
