Has anyone else applied for Spring 2015? I sent in my application/transcripts about a month ago. I spoke to a guy in admissions yesterday, he told me in about 2 weeks letters will be going out saying to schedule interviews directly with the nursing department. After all the interviews, the nursing department will chose 50 students and acceptance letters would be going out around Dec. 1st. Does anyone know how many students typically apply to this program?
They told me that because of how clinicals are scheduled that it still takes 3 years minimum. I am only 11 credits short of an associates in liberal arts. Im missing history gym and freshman seminar. I got a 78 on the TEAS...
I need just two classes to get an associate...I have so many credits also. I'm not sure, but does farmingdale look at the highschool transcripts? I was confused about that because they had a H.s level and a college level. I have everything checked off on the college level but not exactly for the H.s level, but I still received an interview. So I'm assuming that part is not what's deterring me from being accepted but probably my TEAS score which is a 73.
I'm not sure if all the acceptances were changed yet on oasis. Mine said wait listed until now today it says accepted. I'm sure if you are actually denied it would change to that so if it still says wait listed I wouldn't worry yet. I called admissions and I was told letters are being sent out tomorrow!
I have been accepted to the program as well! Check your e-mail account that you gave farming dale when you applied, I contacted the admissions office today and they told me that e-mails were sent out with information to get the process started (uniforms, health history, etc.) Congrats to everyone !!!!!

I got accepted to 5 accelerated programs but none were in NY. All of the other programs were at least $30,000. 4 semesters at farmingdale is about $14,000 which is a big difference. The minimum 3 years to complete is referring to the entire "4 year" bachelor program. I already have an associates in liberal arts and a BS in science technology. I already finished all my pre reqs so I just have to take the nursing classes. The credits to complete the 2nd half after the associates is 62 credits. Going full time that can be finished in 4 semesters. All accelerated programs are 3 to 4 semesters long anyway.
