SUNY Farmingdale Spring 2015

Has anyone else applied for Spring 2015? I sent in my application/transcripts about a month ago. I spoke to a guy in admissions yesterday, he told me in about 2 weeks letters will be going out saying to schedule interviews directly with the nursing department. After all the interviews, the nursing department will chose 50 students and acceptance letters would be going out around Dec. 1st. Does anyone know how many students typically apply to this program?

Hey guys, The orientation is on Friday, right? I lost my letter but then I got an email confirming the orientation on the 12th.

Yes it's this Friday but I think we also have to attend the schools regular orientation but I think that's on the 15th?

Hey guys, I was wait listed and I got a phone call this morning that someone had dropped out and a spot was available...yay! anyway, I saw some of you posting that orientation was last week, so i was wonder what were some of the things they talked about and if there was anything I had to do before classes start. thank you!

Congrats !!!! You'll probably get a packet in the mail that will tell you everything. Just a lot of health forms need to be filled out and you have to register for classes.. We did that at orientation. Once you get your classes then you can order your books and stuff. There will also be what scrubs and other materials you need to start classes. You'll also get an angel account and gmail email account for farmingdale. There was a lot of info at the orientation but I'm sure they will fill you in!

Hey guys! I know this is an old thread but I have applied to Farmingdale for Spring 2016 and am anxiously waiting to hear something. Was wondering what the grades of the previously accepted applicants were like to get an idea of where I stand, Thanks!
